We had a check engine light on in our van earlier last week. We brought it to the mechanic so they could check it out and change the oil. The code that popped up for the check engine light was a transmission issue. We got it into a transmission place in Nashville on Wednesday. Because of the holiday, they weren’t able to begin repairing it until Monday. He said he would have all the parts in Monday so they could knock it out. Hopefully end of the day Monday, but maybe early Tuesday. I called over and over today to check on the van. Long story, short, it didn’t get done today.

What we decided to do was to rent a mini-van. Becky and Michelle are leaving in the rental tonight from Nashville to make an 8-hour drive to Chapel Hill, NC to make it to a 10am event. I am going to stay in Nashville tonight and will leave town when the van is done. I will meet the girls at our second event tomorrow (the one we were supposed to have tonight, but rescheduled to the next day earlier this morning). After our event in Elon, NC tomorrow night, I am heading back to Nashville to return the van to the rental place. The girls are heading to Roswell, GA for our event Thursday morning at 7:35 (high school).

It’s going to be a pretty crazy week for the SE Vagabonds! A lot of driving and not a lot of sleep. It wouldn’t be the Vagabond tour if stuff like this didn’t happen
