Los Angeles is said to be a place of intense diversity where anyone can be who or what they want to be. So in a city like this, where people are defined by answering the question “So, what do you do?”…it’s still a rush to respond, “We are TOMS Vagabonds!” I contend that no one else on the planet has as much fun changing lives as we do, and that’s something that I hope we never take for granted. We are kept busy at TOMS headquarters booking and preparing for our tour, and it’s hard to believe that in a few short weeks we’ll be on the road. Let it be said, however, that our weekends are filled with nothing short of EPIC adventures. Our fearless leader and beloved comrade Mikey drove out on Sunday to help us with some screen printing. We are now collectively outfitted with one-of-a-kind TOMS apparel as well as some Mikey Pagtakhan originals. Look for it on the street, it’s hot y’all. In other news, we now have an ordained minister among us. Sloan, or now more appropriately titled, “The Reverend” will be glad to perform any and all religious ceremonies and rites while in the greater Los Angeles area and on the road (contact sloan@tomsshoes.com for questions and fees). Liz, now looking just a little more like Marilyn Monroe than she did last week, has a little face bling compliments of LA’s finest and most accomplished piercer. Carmin has had quite the week! Between meeting an infamous former Real World cast member and working on a project for the Clinton Global Initiative, she has been a busy lady. This morning, a few of us beat the sun and got to Headquarters at 7am to help with our ongoing Tyler Ramsey project. It is a little-known fact that in addition to being an incredible artist, Tyler is quite the comedian. Humor is key at this hour of the morning, and we’re all thankful for the extra laughs.

PS. There has been lots of talk about the glory of Pinkberry in recent posts. I invite you all to feast thine eyes and tastebuds on the holy land of all frozen yogurt….Yogurtland. This place is for the pioneer, the do-it-yourselfer, and the adventurer. A myriad of flavors and toppings await you, and be sure to tell them to put it on Justin Sylvester’s tab.
