Meet San Luis Obispo TOMS retailer (and good friends) Coalition. We love them. They love us. And its our one year anniversary <3

TOMS:How did you hear about TOMS originally?
COALITION: I think the first time I heard of TOMS was from an article I read about Blake. Then I saw them in Nordstrom.

T: How long have you been carrying TOMS?
C: March 2008 – happy anniversary!

T: What shoe has been your best seller?
C: Classic Canvas in Black – although I enjoy buying the more interesting ones!

T: Do you get many customers who recognize the shoes?
C: Yes, all the time.

T: What makes your store special, why should people come visit?
C: Coalition has the unique focus of combining fashion, art and skateboarding. We carry a variety of brands that all have their own story to tell. We have a diverse selection of the coolest clothes and shoes, a large collection of skate hardgoods all surrounded by amazing art to both look at and buy.

T: If you could name your favorite pair of TOMS what would it be and why?
C: Usually my favorite pair are my silver glitters which I’ve worn to the bone. So I’d call those my “Ghetto Glitters.” Seriously, they are nasty. My new favorite pair are my green tie-dye. I don’t know, something obvious like “Hippy Chic”? But, the ones that pay the bills are the classic black. So, we can call those the “Money Makers”….

T: Anything else you’d like us to include?
C: We are having our One – Year Anniversary celebration starting April 3! Be there or be square.
