In October, Blake agreed to let 9 of us (that’s a lot of employees for a small company!) leave Santa Monica for more than a week to hand place shoes and pass out skateboards on the TOMS + Element Shoe + Board Drop in Durban, South Africa.

After your first year at TOMS, you’re given the opportunity to see the One for One commitment come full circle. For many of us, the experience in South Africa was our first Shoe Drop.
